The first trailer for Black Panther has finally been released to keep Marvel hype going until Spiderman: Homecoming in July. This will be the last stand alone Marvel film before Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 kicks off and will take up most of Marvels 2018 cinematic space.
Black Panther follows on from the events of Captain America: Civil War and shows us the hidden and secretive nation of Wakanda and the secrets they hold including the only supply of vibranium (what Captain America’s shield and Vision is made from). Chadwick Boseman returns as Black Panther the new king of Wakanda following the death of his father at the hands of Zemo. The movie’s villain seems to be a returning Ulysses Klaue, (Avengers: Age of Ultron) a black-market arms dealer, smuggler and gangster played by Andy Serkis. Other than what we know from other films there is very little to tell us about the plot of Black Panther at the moment, with the film due in cinemas in late February 2018 we will see more trailers towards the end of the year.
